Rita Ora for Rimmel- Nail Varnish

Hey Lovelies,

I popped into Superdrug at the end of last week and I couldn’t help but pick up a few of the Rita Ora for Rimmel nail varnishes! I tend to shy away from the 60 second dry nail vanishes as they have a reputation of chipping easily, but for Rita I was willing to take the risk and try them!

First of all the price;

In Superdrug they are priced at £3.69 each, although at the moment they are doing a ‘buy one get one half price’ offer! PLUS I used my student discount so in total these four cost me just under £10 (wehayyyy).

The colours;

Going clockwise starting at the top we have-

‘White Hot Love’ Which is a true white.

‘Do Not Disturb’ A minty colour.

‘Lets Get Nude’ A gorgeous nude.

‘Pillow Talk’ Baby blue colour with a slight pearly shine.

The Packaging;

There is nothing too unique about the packaging beside the picture of Rita which I LOVE.

The Application;

After testing each colour i’ve found that to get an opaque colour, three coats are required; but then again, they dry in 60 seconds so it takes no longer than doing a normal coat of nail varnish. These four colours all appeared exactly the same on my nails as they look in the pots. CHIPPING; I did have an issue with chipping (to be fair it was no worse than my nails inc polishes) although the fact they are 60 second drying meant that touching my nails up and covering chips was no hassle at all!

Overall;

I would totally recommend these to anyone and I may be heading back to Superdrug to grab a few more colours!

Until next time,

-M. x
